I got engaged my senior year of college and, like most college students, I did not have much extra money as I began to plan my wedding. As a matter of coincidence, one day I happened to notice a listing for a wedding dress for sale on a bulletin board on my college campus. It happened to be the only wedding dress posted for sale amid other listings for used cars and old furniture.

I called the phone number listed on the ad and went to try the dress on. It fit like a glove and I was absolutely in love with it. I paid $350 for the dress and a few accessories that went with it. Saving so much money on my dress left me a lot more for other aspects of my wedding that were important to me.

My experience was the inspiration for beginning TheDressList.com. It's a place where dresses of all kinds are listed for free and are local so that both the women listing their dresses and women searching for dresses can benefit. I hope this site proves to be a benefit for you!
